Cramlington and District Model Aircraft Club

CADMAC  is a club based in Cramlington dedicated to flying radio controlled aircraft of all shapes and sizes. We have been flying from our own dedicated field within Cramlington Nature Reserve for over 25 years.  Our site which is easily accessible from the A189 has over 16 acres of flying space with the main take off and landing strip covering  2 acres. If you are interested in the exciting sport of radio controlled flying please get in touch. We’re always looking for new members and our instructors and friendly club flyers will get you up and flying as quickly and as safely as possible.

Our 60 members fly a wide range of aircraft and styles. We have beautifully detailed scale aircraft from the vintage era . Our World War II fighters and bombers can often be seen flying in formation and performing thrilling low passes, perfect those who can’t resist an exciting photo opportunity. We also fly gliders, helicopters, auto-gyros… in fact if it flies we’ve probably flown it! So whether you’re a complete novice, a gentle Sunday flyer or the next 3D world champion please do get in touch or come along and see us on the field or at one of our monthly meets.
